Our dentists working to your smile

Inlays and Onlays are restorations that are used to rebuild a tooth that has lost a significant amount of its structure, due to decay or trauma. They are similar to dental fillings, however, they are cemented into place. Inlays fit into the tooth, whereas onlays sit on top of the remaining tooth structure.

Inlays and Onlays can be constructed using –

  • Porcelain
  • Gold
  • Composite

Your local dentist will be the best person to evaluate your tooth and determine whether it needs an Inlay or Onlay. A mould will be required of all of your teeth, and then the Inlay or Onlay can be generated from scratch. Although there will be a two week wait before your new Inlay or Onlay will be put into place, the wait will be worth it when you see the benefits of your new smile.
